LIQUI MOLY BRAKE FLUID DOT 4 – LM21306

Liqui Moly Brake Fluid DOT 4 is a high-performance synthetic brake fluid based on glycol ethers, alkyl polyglycols and glycol ether esters. It is formulated to provide reliable braking performance, strong corrosion protection and excellent thermal stability in hydraulic brake and clutch systems.

Its high dry and wet boiling points help maintain safe braking performance even after the fluid has absorbed moisture over time. Special moisture scavengers help reduce the risk of vapour bubble formation, while the formulation provides good lubrication for moving components within the hydraulic brake circuit.

Suitable for compatible disc brake systems, drum brake systems, hydraulic clutch systems and ABS braking systems where a synthetic brake fluid meeting the specified standards is required.

Application:

Can be used with conventional brake-fluid bleeding equipment.

The brake fluid is miscible and compatible with high-quality synthetic brake fluids. For optimum performance and service life, Liqui Moly recommends using the product on its own rather than unnecessarily mixing different brake fluids.

Brake fluid should be replaced according to the vehicle manufacturer's specified service interval.

Important Notes:

Check Vehicle Specification: Always confirm the brake-fluid specification required by the vehicle manufacturer before use.

Do Not Use in Mineral Oil Systems: This product must not be used in mineral oil-based central hydraulic systems.

Protect Painted Surfaces: Brake fluid can damage vehicle paint. If spilled on painted surfaces, rinse immediately with plenty of water.

Moisture Absorption: Brake fluid is hygroscopic and absorbs moisture from the atmosphere. Keep the container tightly sealed when not in use.

Professional Installation Recommended: Brake fluid replacement and hydraulic brake-system bleeding should preferably be carried out by a qualified technician.
